Role of an Assurance Manager

ROLE A: DELIVERABLE ASSURANCE (Technical)

Core Outcomes (WHAT)

  1. Ensures commitments made in P0 are delivered to stakeholders
  2. Responsible for extracting & documentation for organization-wide learning

Deliverables (KPIs)

  1. Share document of Audit outcome of process and product in P1 to P4 phases with support from CU
  2. Share COPQ document with G6
  3. Commissioning and PG test documents
  4. Hand over documents
  5. Learning Documents

Key Practices (HOW)

  1. Gate-keeper” function, No Accountability in the role.
  2. Show the mirror to G6 team on gaps
  3. Not a decision maker, but a decision enabler.
  4. Monitor compliance to process and product in P1 to P4 phase, and report variances to G6 well in time to aid decision making.
  5. Pre-commissioning readiness and prepare for commissioning, check correctness and completeness and report to G6.
  6. Capture learnings for future projects and share with G6 and CU.
  7. Report the variance in Processes followed and output product vis-à-vis applicable standards.
  8. Lead Commissioning and complete up to PG test as per commitment to stakeholder.

CU Interface

  1. TS CU – Interact and obtain documentation on ITP / Inspection reports on Manufacturing, Issues and concerns.
  2. Engineering CU – Approved QAP
  3. Any resources required for getting work done.
  4. CQS CU- Interact and obtain documentation on Construction Quality, statutory compliances, issues and concerns.
  5. CP CU-Interact and obtain documentation on approval process for all schemes, issues and concern    
ROLE B: GOVERNANCE ASSURANCE (Commercial)

Core Outcomes (WHAT)

  1. Ensures statutory/ governance compliance throughout the lifecycle of the project
  2. Responsible for extracting & documentation for organization-wide learning

Deliverables (KPIs)

  1. Compliance to 1st KPI of E&P
  2. Audit Observation
  3. Non-Compliance reports

Key Practices (HOW)
