Deliverable Maps: defining project-enabling roles of functions

At each of the 4 phases of the project – Visioning, Specification, Build and Handover – there are certain key handshake points. There is a clear distinction between i) handshake points with the project and ii) what is taking place within a function (“kitchen activities”).

These handshake points are mapped in Deliverable Maps for each function.

Project-enabling roles of the following functions were explored:
Planning
Design & Engineering: i) Process Engineering, ii) Functional Engineering, iii) Plant Engineering iv) Product Design; v) Engineering Manager
Manufacturing: i) Equipment & Tech. Structures; ii) Industrial Structures
